The MCCA's purchasing process is to procure goods and services using sound business practices through its centralized purchasing department by obtaining quotations or purchasing via the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Statewide Contracts. As business needs increase in size or complexity, goods and services and capital projects are publicly bid to ensure a fair and competitive process.

The Authority is committed to and encourages the participation of Minority Owned and Women Owned Businesses. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Supplier Diversity Office certifies minority and women businesses. T08 MCEC STATIC PENDENT SIGN UPGRADE

This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment for replacing the static pendent signage with owner provided digital displays, at the Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center, in Boston, all as more fully set forth in the Specifications and Drawings. The work is estimated at $96,222.00.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM. on Wednesday, January 07, 2026, onsite at the main entrance (Main lobby) of Thomas M. Menino Convention and Exhibition Center, Boston,
Massachusetts. Bidders will have an opportunity to visit the site of the work after the pre-bid
conference. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted in writing to bflynn@massconvention.com and cc pbangera@massconvention.com in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 PM, January 14, 2026.

Bidding procedures and award of the contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Section 39M, inclusive, of Chapter 30 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. No DCAMM certification required.

MCEC Roadway Drain and Expansion Joint Repairs T21

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed general bids for the THOMAS MICHAEL MENINO CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTER (MCEC) - DRAIN REPAIRS (T21) at the Administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 p.m. local time on February 4, 2025 immediately after which, in a designated room, the general bids will be opened and read publicly.

 Sealed filed sub-bids for the same project for the sub-trades listed below will be received at the same office until 12:00 p.m. local time on January 21, 2026, immediately after which, in a designated room, the filed sub-bids will be opened and read publicly.

This project includes providing all labor, materials, and equipment for drains on roadways, all as more fully set forth in the Specifications and Drawings.

The Consultant shall demonstrate proven expertise in public & governmental relations and strategic communication services. The successful Consultant will designate a strong project manager and team with proven experience.
