The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed general bids for the JOHN B. HYNES VETERANS MEMORIAL CONVENTION CENTER - Hynes Carpet Replacement Level 1 & 2 (U05) at the Administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 p.m. local time on December 03, 2025 immediately after which, in a designated room, the general bids will be opened and read publicly.

This project in Boston, Massachusetts includes, but is not necessarily limited to, replacing existing carpet locations as shown on the drawings, with owner provided carpet and adhesives, approximately 13,200 sf; furnish and install transition strips, level substrates (grinding or filling) and all as more fully set forth in the Drawings and Notes.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am on November 13, 2025, starting at the main entrance of the Hynes Convention Center, located at 900 Boylston Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The pre-bid conference will be followed by a walk-through of the site.

Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted to bflynn@massconvention.com in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on November 19, 2025.

Each general bid on this contract must be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required. MMC Locker Room and Green Room Upgrades (S20)
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed general bids for the MASS MUTUAL CENTER MMC Locker Room and Green Room Upgrades (S20) at the Administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 p.m. local time on October 8, 2025, immediately after which, in a designated room, the general bids will be opened and read publicly.
The work of this project in Springfield, Massachusetts includes, but is not limited to, renovations of the existing locker rooms, dressing rooms and bathrooms at the MassMutual Center (MMC). The scope encompasses selective demolition, interior architectural upgrades, and associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing modifications, along with necessary patching and repairs of finishes. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the Work in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00am on September 17, 2025, starting at 10:00am at the MMC located at 1277 Main Street Springfield, Massachusetts. The pre-bid conference will be followed by a walk-through of the site.

Bidding procedures and award of the contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 44A through 44J, inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Each bid shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid.

The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party.
The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and also a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form. Attention is called to the minimum rates of wages to be paid on the work as determined under the provisions of Chapter 149, Massachusetts General Laws, Sections 26 to 27D, inclusive, as amended, and as set forth in the Contract Documents, which the contractor will be required to pay.

R09 BCEC Membrane Roof Replacement Project


The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (hereinafter the “Authority”) is soliciting Prime Contractors (DCAMM Roofing) and Filed-Sub Trade Services for the BCEC Roof Replacement project, a phased approach, to replace the low-sloped roofing system (approx. 280,000SF), with an estimated cost of $29,000,000 located at 415 Summer Street. Boston, MA. In accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, sections 44A thru 44J, the Authority is seeking a highly qualified and competent General Bidder and Filed-Sub Trades to provide services to implement the construction, between the Summer of 2025 through Spring of 2027.

General Bidders (Prime), certified in the category of Roofing, interested in providing services for the project are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to the Authority. 

Filed-Sub Trades interested in providing services for the project are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to the Authority. Filed-Sub Trades are required for the following classes of work: Miscellaneous and Ornamental Iron ($1,200,000).

The Authority will receive SOQs electronically ONLY, through BidDocs ONLINE, until 12:00 PM local time on July 25, 2025. Go to biddocs.com and click on the "Bid Listings" tab at the top and then click on the "Solicitations" button at the top and search and/or click on the RFQ name.

Request for Qualifications documents will be available on or after Wednesday July 09, 2025, from the Authority website rfp.massconvention.com, which will direct you at BidDocs ONLINE. Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the Request for Qualifications documents must be submitted electronically to BidDocs ONLINE and must be received no later than 5:00 PM, July 18, 2024.

This Request for Qualifications (“RFQ”) is the first phase of a two-phase procurement process as set forth in M.G.L. c.149. The Authority is prequalifying firms interested in providing public General Building Construction and Filed-Sub Trade services for the project through this RFQ process. Only those respondents deemed qualified will be invited to submit a proposal in response to a detailed Request for Proposal (“RFP”) which will be issued in the second phase of the procurement process, pursuant to Section 44E.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (hereinafter the “Authority”) is soliciting for construction services for the BCEC, Hynes, BCG WiFi and IT Upgrades – R32ABC (the “Project”), upgrades to the WiFi and security systems, with an estimated cost of $18,501,686.00, located at 415 Summer St, 900 Boylston Street, and 0 Charles St, Boston, MA, in conjunction with the designer STV Inc., and the OPM Arcadis US.

The Authority will use the RFQ/RFP process and firms interested in providing public for the Project are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to the Authority. The Authority will receive SOQs electronically using BidDocsOnline until 12:00 PM (Noon) local time on June 5, 2025.
