| The MCCA is issuing this Request for Proposals to solicit written proposals from qualified consultant teams to develop the MCCA Strategic Plan which will set forth a vision and implementation strategy for the Authority through 2035 and beyond. MCCA seeks a creative, visionary consultant team with demonstrated strategic planning, organizational design, financial business-planning and industry-specific expertise to assist MCCA through the development of the Strategic Plan. The successful Consultant will designate a strong project manager and team with proven experience in driving complex strategic planning initiatives to a successful, timely confusion. North Plaza Sidewalk and Security Enhancements (K81)
The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the "Authority") will receive sealed General bids for the BOSTON CONVENTION & EXHIBITION CENTER North Plaza Sidewalk and Security Enhancements (K81) at the administrative Offices of the Authority at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, until 12:00 p.m. local time on July 1, 2025 immediately after which, in a designated room, the general bids will be opened and read publicly.
Sealed Filed Sub-Bids for the same project for the sub-trades listed below will be received at the same office until 12:00 p.m. local time on June 17, 2025, immediately after which, in a designated room, the filed sub-bids will be opened and read publicly.
This project includes providing all labor, materials and equipment necessary to provide specific repairs for the Summer Street Sidewalk, located on both sides generally between D Street and West Side Drive, and consisting of sidewalk adjustment, curb ramp reconstruction, granite curb realignment, illuminated bollards and planters installation, and sidewalk reconstruction, as well as new and relocated stormwater drainage, and traffic signal infrastructure, all as more fully set forth in the Drawings and Notes.
A prebid conference will be held at 10:00am on June 3, 2025, starting at the North Plaza in front of the BCEC located at 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts. The pre-bid conference will be followed by a walk-through of the site.
Questions or requests for information, clarification or interpretation of the bidding documents must be submitted to bflynn@massconvention.com in writing in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on June 10, 2025.
Each general bid on this contract must be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) showing that the bidder has the classification and capacity rating to perform the work required. In order to be eligible to bid on this contract, a general bidder must be certified for the estimated project cost of $7,781,679 and for the following category of work:

Each general bid must also be accompanied by a Contractor Qualification Update Statement. The Authority will furnish copies of the Contractor Qualification Update Statement form to any bidder on request. Any general bid submitted without the appropriate Certificate of Eligibility and Contractor Qualification Update Statement shall be invalid.

Bidding procedures and award of the contract will be in accordance with the provisions of Sections 44A through 44J, inclusive, of Chapter 149 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Each bid shall be submitted and will be considered in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents, and shall be accompanied by a bid deposit in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid.
The Authority reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all bids if it be in the public interest to do so. The Authority reserves the right to cancel this procurement at any time without liability to any bidder or other party.
The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and also a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form. | The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority announces its intent to Accept a Best Value Offer pursuant to the Authority's Due Diligence Posting to contract with an organization that has made an offer to the MCCA to pay for the naming rights of the facility currently named the MassMutual Center, located at 1277 Main Street, Springfield, MA, 01103, pending the results of the Notice of Intent.
The MCCA's contract with the MassMutual for naming rights of the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA has expired and, as such, the MCCA is seeking an organization to enter into a contract for the future naming rights of the Springfield facility for a 10-year term.

The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (hereinafter the “Authority”) is soliciting for construction services for the BCEC, Hynes, BCG WiFi and IT Upgrades – R32ABC (the “Project”), upgrades to the WiFi and security systems, with an estimated cost of $18,501,686.00, located at 415 Summer St, 900 Boylston Street, and 0 Charles St, Boston, MA, in conjunction with the designer STV Inc., and the OPM Arcadis US.
The Authority will use the RFQ/RFP process and firms interested in providing public for the Project are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (“SOQ”) to the Authority. The Authority will receive SOQs electronically using BidDocsOnline until 12:00 PM (Noon) local time on June 5, 2025.

Boston Common Garage ATS Switch Replacement
| The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (the “Authority”) requests invitations for bid
for purchase and install of Schneider Electric 7000 Series Transfer Switch for the Boston
Common Garage, to replace existing, damaged, Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), inclusive of
all labor and materials to provide a functional/operational ATS.
Bids must be received at the Executive Office of the Authority, Attn: Brendan Flynn, Director of
Purchasing, 415 Summer Street, Boston, Massachusetts 02210, not later than 12:00 p.m. local
time on May 23rd, 2025. Bid requirements and content are set forth in the Invitation for Bid, and
in conjunction with MGL Ch. 30B regulations.
A Pre-Bid Walkthrough will be held at 10:00AM, May 14, 2025. Interested bidders will meet at
the parking ticket office of Boston Common Garage (middle level), 0 Charles Street, Boston,
